My Story

I am a recent Harvard graduate with a major in Art, Film and Visual Studies and a minor in Computer Science. Born and raised in the vibrant twin islands of Trinidad and Tobago, where culture, colour, and rhythm are part of everyday life. From the beats of calypso and soca to the burst of Carnival and the calm beauty of our beaches and rainforests, these experiences have shaped how I see and create. My artistic journey began with formal training in fine arts, grounding me in traditional techniques, and has since expanded into digital media, sculpture, and mixed media to reflect the layered, evolving nature of Caribbean identity.

Each project begins with immersion, drawing inspiration from folklore, music, landscapes, and daily life, and blends bold composition with cultural storytelling. I approach my work as both preservation and reinvention: honouring our traditions while pushing creative boundaries to imagine new futures. Whether it's a painting, a sculpture, or a digital piece, I aim to create art that feels both grounded and forward-looking.

Collaboration is central to my process; I often work with fellow Caribbean artists, musicians, and cultural practitioners to co-create work that amplifies our shared voice and sustains the stories that define us.
